Spring Break Camps

The Registration "Spring Break Camps" is not currently available.

We are excited to announce our Spring Break Camps for 2019. All camps will be hosted at the Westlake Athletic and Community Center (WACC). The address is:

All events are located on the calendar! When you go to register, select the days for the camps you want to attend and the options for that day will appear.

Passing/Defense clinic will focus on developing proper passing/defensive footwork, platform, and posture.  This clinic is good for beginner passer/defenders who need more fundamental repetitions as well as for advanced passer/defenders who are looking to perfect their craft. This clinic welcomes grades 5th-12th of all skill levels. Coaches may divide athletes into groups of similar skill level in order to appropriately challenge each individual. Coaches will focus more on giving feedback rather than breaking down a skill.  Athletes will receive a ton of passing/defense repetitions during this session.

 

Hitting Clinic will focus on developing a proper arm swing and approach for hitting the ball. Athletes will learn tips and tricks to create lots of top spin and use their entire body to improve this skill. This clinic is good for beginner hitters who need more fundamental repetitions as well as for advanced hitters who are looking to perfect their craft. This clinic welcomes grades 5th-12th of all skill levels. Coaches may divide athletes into groups of similar skill level in order to appropriately challenge each individual. Coaches will focus more on giving feedback rather than breaking down a skill.  Athletes will receive a ton of hitting repetitions during this session.

 

Quick Attack Hitting Clinic will introduce as well as improve on athlete’s knowledge of speeding up an offense and how to be successful doing it.. Athletes will learn tips and tricks on timing and placement to help advance their offensive game.. This clinic is good for beginner hitters who need more fundamental repetitions as well as for advanced hitters who are looking to perfect their craft. This clinic welcomes grades 5th-12th of all skill levels. Coaches may divide athletes into groups of similar skill level in order to appropriately challenge each individual. Coaches will focus more on giving feedback rather than breaking down a skill.  Athletes will receive a ton of hitting repetitions during this session.

 

Serving clinic will focus on the toss, hand-ball contact, and arm speed in order to create consistent and aggressive serves and will also touch on both methods of jump serving. This clinic is for athletes who are learning to serve as well as for athletes wanting to perfect their serve. This clinic welcomes grades 5th-12th of all skill levels. Coaches may divide athletes into groups of similar skill level in order to appropriately challenge each individual. Coaches will focus more on giving feedback rather than breaking down a skill.  Athletes will receive a ton of serving repetitions during this session.

 

Blocking/Hitting Clinic will focus on teaching proper techniques for blocking and transition footwork, blocking hand positioning and how to accurately set a block against a live hit. This clinic welcomes grades 5th-12th of all skill levels. Coaches may divide athletes into groups of similar skill level in order to appropriately challenge each individual. Coaches will focus more on giving feedback rather than breaking down a skill.  Athletes will receive a ton of serving repetitions during this session.

 

Play to Win - MOST REQUESTED CAMP - This is a high intensity competitive clinic for all ages. Athletes will be grouped by skill and will learn how to compete and win at a variety of games including 6 vs 6.
